Level 1 Course duration : 22 hours ( Spread across 11 classes-each of 2 hours duration)

Class 1 ( 2 hours): Introduction to Simple machines. Learn about Gears using principle models

Class 2 ( 2 hours): Main activity using Gears

Class 3 ( 2 hours): Problem solving activities using gears

Class 4 ( 2 hours): Learn about ‘Wheels and Axles; using principle models ; Main activity and Problem solving activity

Class 5 ( 2 hours) : Learn about ‘Pulleys’ using principle models

Class 6 ( 2 hours) : Main Activity using pulleys

Class 7( 2 hours): Problem solving activity using pulleys

Class 8 ( 2 hours) : Learn about Levers using principle models. Main activity using levers.

Class 9 ( 2 hours): Problem solving activity using Levers followed by revision of all the terminologies learnt in Level 1 related to Gears, Wheels&Axles, Pulleys and Levers

Class 10 ( 2 hours) Quiz followed by certificate distribution

Students can observe and investigate simple machines – gears, wheels, axles, levers and pulleys – using Simple Machines. Discover mechanical principles by exploring, investigating, and solving tasks related to mechanical principles as well as learn about energy, balance, buoyancy, and much more.
